I’ve worked in the creative sector for over fifteen years, across programming, curation, production, bookings, events, operations, tour management and large scale festivals. I'm a solo musician, DJ and vocalist/ drummer for band I Heart Hiroshima and have performed as a session musician for artists such as Alice Skye, Jens Lekman, Elizabeth, Debby Friday, Philadelphia Grand Jury, Peaches and Robert Forster. Throughout my various roles, my main goal as a Transgender person is to help carve out a more inclusive creative culture in Australia, one that better reflects the country we live in. Prior to my current position programming St Kilda Festival - Australia's largest free music festival - I’ve worked as an Associate Producer at RISING, Senior Producer for FUSE (Darebin City Council), Music Curator at Dark Mofo, Business and Operations Manager at Next Wave Festival and Client Account Manager for Oztix.I've worked as a Booking Agent and Event Coordinator for inclusive publicity, tour promotion and band management company UXS (formally known as Mellum). UXS were invited to program Night Mass at Dark Mofo in 2019 and 2020, working with artists such as Junglepussy, Empress Of, Sampa The Great, Mallrat, Badsista, Teto Preto and many others. As an independent Booking Agent, I've represented electronic pioneer JD Samson, Hip-Hop artist Miss Blanks and Melbourne DJ Emma Stevenson. I also helped present shows for Sevdaliza, Le1f, Ms. Boogie, Alok Vaid-Menon, Gaika, Dai Burger, Lady Leshurr, and Ah Mer Ah Su.Previously, in Berlin, I worked as event producer, booker and promoter for Sloth Collective, where I produced 25 events which involved artists The XX, Chairlift, planningtorock, Peaches, SSION, Olof Dreijer and Lotic, at venues such as the world-renowned nightclub Berghain. Over the years, I have also worked and collaborated with the likes of Splendour in the Grass, Changes Festival, MONA FOMA, Yo! Sissy Music Festival, Falls Festival, All Tomorrow’s Parties, Bigsound, and SXSW, among others.
