Joined Dave, a fintech startup founded in 2017, as the first Chief People Officer reporting to the CEO/Co-Founder. Scaled the company from 130 to 300 employees, from Series B through to taking the company public in January 2022. Built a People Team responsible for People Operations (Benefits, Compensation, Immigration, HRIS), HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Internal Communications, Talent Development, DEI, and Workplace Experience

Joined Hulu as the first Director, Talent Management focused initially on building out the HR Business Partner, Compensation and Recruiting functions. Identified as the eventual successor to the SVP, Talent & Organization and spent the next several years leading each team within the Talent & Organization function, while scaling the company from ~300 to 3,000 Hulugans and eventually leading a People team of 150 located across the US and Beijing

• Work with HR and other business leaders to design, implement, and measure the ongoing effectiveness of a variety of talent-focused strategies and programs • Lead consulting teams in the delivery of client work; plan, organize, and guide the teams’ work in ways that drive results for the client and create positive learning and development experiences • Manage project teams of three to five consultants; at any given time, between four and seven active client projects, with timelines sometimes extending beyond one year

• Served as a Board level consultant, primarily supporting Compensation Committee Chairs and management teams develop and implement broad-based and executive rewards strategies and programs • Primary content areas included: total rewards strategy; performance management; job design; pay levels and practices; salary structure design; annual incentive design, including sales incentives; performance measurement• Co-lead Midwest recruiting efforts for entry-level consulting analysts and mid-career project managers, including a total redesign of the recruiting process and the development of related tools (e.g., case interviews; behavioral interview guides; quantitative aptitude assessment)
