First started as a bar worker in a golf club, performing many tasks and going above and beyond. Club members recognised me for being reliable and hard-working; so much so that, six months into the job, a customer approached me for employment in his gentlemen's tailoring shop.From hospitality to retail, I had gained experience in two different sectors, but I longed for more. Spirax Sarco were offering an opportunity to become an Executive Assistant, and I jumped at it. In the Teams interviewing process, I displayed great communications skills that another was looking for. So I was taken on as a Communications Assistant; a role I did not apply for, outperforming those who did.I am still early in my career journey, by August my six-month placement with Spirax Sarco as a Communications Assistant ends. In this role, as in both before, I have performed various duties, supporting all sorts of colleagues, learning about new people and developing my skills. I like being helpful and being useful. I strive to put my all into my work with my conviction of integrity. With all of my experiences in my working life, I believe it evident and not a boast, that I am someone who shines.Don't miss me!
