About Daniel Sullivan

I’m passionate about what I do, and what I do is reporting, editing, videography, and storytelling with a purpose. I have been pushed to be the best I can be by the Army, where I serve as a one-man-band broadcast journalist. I can thank them for my work ethic and disciplined approach to life.     As the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of Afghan Departures, I was in charge of 22 soldiers who handled all aspects of Afghan refugees leaving Ft. McCoy Wisconsin during Operation Allies Welcome. I coordinated with the Department of State, the International Organization for Migration, and roughly a dozen different Department of Defense entities. This resulted in the efficient departure of almost 13,000 Afghan refugees to their resettlement inside the United States. I was the only soldier from my 100-person company to move to the follow-on mission, Operation Allies Welcome 2.0, in Leesburg, VA.
