In my role as the Microloan Loyalty Product Manager at Baubap my main objective was to delivery product solutions that enhanced microloan repayment. Amongst my responsabilities:- Spearheaded product discovery. I actively engaged with clients to understand their needs and feedback, driving improvements in loan repayment and recovery processes. - Lead a diverse team of professionals, including engineers.- Collaborated with various departments, including finance and legal, that allowed us to develop continous experimentation of feasible and impactful solutions for our customers ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations and reducing risk.

Responsible, together with the affinity team, for increasing the onboarding and engagement rates for members in Brasil, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Peru and Ecuador.Results of constant experimentation: - Up to 14X increase in the onboarding rate- Up to +354% increase in members participating in a challenge and 358% increase in members donating bettercoins.

- Structure the business roadmap for the next 5 years, aligned to the bank's objectives.- Define quarterly OKRs and measure the progress every sprint.- Make transparent the needs, objectives and results of the business to the team.- Lead a 25 cross-functional team towards the goals defined for every quarter. Team made up of professionals from development, design, marketing, commercial, financial and risk areas.

- Vision: Deliver easy and faster home loans in LatAm. Originated more than USD$ 60MM in home loans.- Along with my partners, I led a team of more than 25 people, raised more than USD$ 830K in venture capital from well known international funds like 500Startups, GAN Ventures and Seedstars, and closed more than 19 banking partnerships in Peru, Colombia and Mexico.- Launched our own home equity loans targeting those that are excluded from the traditional banking system.- We were the first peruvian startup using the stock market to raise debt through private bond emissions.- Learn more of this company in: rebajatuscuentas.com.

After selling Smartec I decided to take a time as a marketing advisor before establishing my nextchallenge.- Provided advisory services to companies in Perú, USA and Germany. The industries I worked with: car dealers, retail ecommerce, education, real estate, tourism and consultancy.- I enjoyed learning from various problems in different countries within different industries and how problems can be onboarded in a similar way.

Among my co-founders, we created the first inbound and Hubspot partner agency in Perú.- With a team of more than 50 people we provided services to mid and big companies in Perú and Chile achieving annual sales of more than USD$ 2MM.- We received an offer to buy the company in dec-2015. We saw this as an opportunity to start something new again.

- Created a fashion- Etsy-style marketplace for LatAm so shops could sell their products on our platform and customers could find unique and awesome products.- Our SEO strategy allowed us to capture clients and shops.- We were able to raise our first round from friends and families and from Wayra (Telefonica’s corporateventure). We couldn’t raise our second round and we ran out of cash. We made a lot of mistakes. Main mistake: lack of focus (especially towards the client).
