I am a development professional with over a decade and half experience of managing education, basic health/nutrition and poverty alleviation programmes in Pakistan and Afghanistan. My major specialties in education include training, curriculum development, assessment, cash transfers, Early Childhood Education, Community Based Education, monitoring and community engagement while my expertise in poverty programme consists of assessment of beneficiaries, reviewing business ideas, developing family development plans, drafting business feasibility, conducting training, developing linkages and market research. My programmatic skills include partners management, budget management, team management, programme monitoring and report writing.Some major achievements include mainstreaming of 4000 out of school children into formal schools through Accelerated Learning Programme (ALP), successfully implementing Early Childhood Education (ECE), training of thousand of teachers/school heads/school management committees, capacity building of government officials and other partners, development of English (1-5) curriculum and textbooks under Single National Curriculum, introducing school clustering system, launching school improvement plans, initiating catch up classes for girls, implementing conditional cash stipend for adolescent girls, reviewing digital content for suitability and quality. and drafting strategies for different interventions including low cost private schools, Community Based Education and Early Childhood Education. I have also successfully implemented the Family Economic Advancement Programme (a poverty elimination programme) in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Chitral which is being replicated in other parts of the target areas by incorporating the lesson learned.
