Autonomous Capability Development for Self-Driving Trucks

Developing Model-Based Systems Engineering tools and techniques for Uber's Self-Driving Car ProgramTwo main focuses have been Tools & Process, and modeling Systems Architecture.As part of the Tools & Process effort, I have:- used Business Process Modeling and Notation (BPMN) for modeling the Systems Design processes, including Requirements Development and systems modeling processes.- managed tool integrations between requirements management and systems modeling tools to facilitate end-to-end traceability from requirements to design/implementation to tests.As part of the Systems Architecture effort. I have:- engaged ATG Hardware Team and stood up a model-based architecture modeling and requirements development approach- transitioned the Systems Architecture from Diagrams in documents to descriptive architecture models in SysML- established robust ontologies that can be scaled to more use cases to capture system data.- Transitioned Systems Architecture diagrams in documents to descriptive architecture models in SysML to enable functional allocation of subsystems and modules for FMEAs and requirements development.

Tutoring Integral & Multivariable Calculus.Required to plan sessions and make worksheets for tutoring sessions.Promoted to Mentor in 2018. As a mentor, I :- trained PLUS tutors in effective tutoring methods- supervised a group of 5 to 8 tutors over the course of a semesterObtained CRLA (College Reading & Learning Association) Level 3 Certification.

Familiarized with the Modelling & Simulation tools such as MagicDraw with the Cameo Simulation ToolKit.Worked with the NASA MBSE Pathfinder Initiative’s Sounding Rocket Team.Extended a reference model for CubeSATs, and views & viewpoints using OpenMBEE.As a senior URA, I supervised and instructed other URAs and graded their MBSE assignments.

Worked with the HALO (Habitat & Logistics Outpost) and NG's Human Landing System Proposal Team.Designed and prototyped a concurrent design framework that allowed different simulation tools to manage and sync their to coordinate subsystem and system trade studies during proposal phase.

• Created SysML Profiles and tools in CSM for Requirements Traceability & Verification for the NextSTEP-2 Habitat Program, as well as supporting other MBSE tasks in the Space Systems Group.• Scripted several macros in Java & Python to automate tasks in Cameo.• Continued to work part-time to support various projects through the Fall semester.

Visited schools for underprivileged children to teach a variety of subjects ranging from public speaking to performing arts.

Member of the Documentary Production Team for PAKSTRAN (Pakistan Sustainable Transport Project). Acquired practical knowledge regarding Environmental Impact Assessment and drafted reports on various projects of the National Impact Assessment Program (NIAP)
