An environmental scientist and policy advisor working with aid and development agencies, academic institutions and intergovernmental organizations focusing on the water, energy and climate change nexus as they pertain to international development and humanitarian aid. In addition, Sultan was adjunct faculty at Johns Hopkins University teaching environmental analysis and policy. Previously, he was the Director of the Humanitarian Climate Crisis Unit at Save the Children, an Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education fellow at the US Department of Energy, a Science and Policy Advisor for Greenpeace International and a field worker for Doctors Without Borders. He has a graduate degree from Harvard University, as well as an undergraduate degree from George Washington University.
