My role & responsibility include interaction with all stake holders viz Faculty & Staff, Jindal Realty Limited, Supermax Management, House Owners & various vendors etc. Negotiate and execute rent agreement/rent renewal agreements for the dwellings to be hired for JGU Faculty & Staff. The dwellings so hired are furnished properly and get ready in all respects before allotment to the Faculty/Staff. Broadly, this involves; monitoring the occupation/vacation status of flats, compiling and submitting data of monthly rental & maintenance charges to JGU Finance for payment, budget forecast/projection, expenditure & accounting, inventory planning & procurement in advance, deployment of various resources for upkeep and maintenance of inventory and ensuring that uninterrupted essential services like power, water supply, internet services and security etc. are provided with complete clientele satisfaction. -

Here, my role & responsibility include interaction with all stake holders viz Faculty & Staff, Jindal Realty Limited, House Owners etc. to negotiate and execute rent agreement/rent renewal agreement for the dwellings to be hired for JGU Faculty & Staff. Introduced the use of certain essential equipment viz rubber stamps, weighing machines/scales etc. and system of bar-coding on inventory for smooth functioning of Stores. Ensured regular health checkup of inventory and timely sharing of stock-status with User, Procurement & Finance department to avoid undue purchases/unnecessary accumulation of material. Coordinated for repair/replacement of items under warranty and affected cost saving by retrieval of serviceable items dumped in scrap as well as selling of dead inventory/scrap by organizing competitive bidding. Implemented ERP for preparation of Good Receipt Notes etc. on its Inventory module. As In-charge, managed efficiently the overall functional aspects of Stores. -

Carried out mainstream procurement of high value items with proper planning, meticulous analysis and intense negotiations, which affected handsome savings to the University while purchasing quality goods/services. Provided an effective and comprehensive security cover to approximately 3000 students, faculty & staff of this fully residential and global university, besides monitoring the movement of material and safety of property. This was successfully achieved by efficiently managing the training, deployment and operations of the security force of strength 120 guards from three different security agencies as well as monitoring of 200 CCTV cameras. In addition, worked in close coordination with Chief Warden and enforced discipline and students’ code of conduct on campus. This included carrying out of security audit in Students’ hostels/campus, security protocols at exit/entry gates, confiscation of banned substances, representing as Security Officer during Students’ Disciplinary Committee and so on. Continued doing so until 20 November 2014; when internally transferred to Administration (Facilities Management) owing to exigencies of work and organizational interests. -
