Abinta Kabir Foundation was formed on 5th March, 2017 to make unrealised dreams of a young philanthropist, a high spirited beautiful soul and an intelligent academic whose head full of brilliant ideas about how to give back to her country. Abinta Gallery of Fine Arts is a concern of Abinta Kabir Foundation which was formerly known as Athena Gallery. The gallery serves as a cultural and educational center, with frequent exhibitions, seminars, workshops and other activities open to the public at large.Athena Gallery was established in 2012 and was renamed in 2017 as Abinta Gallery of Fine Arts in remembrance of Abinta Kabir – the granddaughter of Ms. Nilu Murshed who is the Chairperson of the gallery.
