My practice focuses on the defense of domestic and foreign manufacturers, distributors and retailers in products liability claims. I also assist European and local manufacturers in navigating the (voluntary) recall process. I defend claims involving a diverse roster of products and locations including vessels, household appliances, electronics, cosmetics, parking garages, electric bicycles, public transportation, power tools, heaters, cargo-loaders, automated milking systems, product-packing machines, diving equipment, hotels and construction claims.I began my career focusing on insurance coverage litigation, and am familiar with all aspects of risk transfer and monitoring claims for foreign insurers. I have also successfully briefed and argued at the appellate level and have ample experience in alternate dispute resolution. I served as a professor at Wilson Elser’s Legalign Global University 2023, held in conjunction with the other member firms of Legalign Global, an alliance of best-in-region law firms working as one for multinational insurers, brokers and businesses in addressing cross-border risks and claims.
