Job Responsibilities:• Administers, monitors and continuously ensures that all operations conform to HSE requirements and maintain high safety standard.• Conduct daily Vessel safety coordination committee (VSCC) meeting.• Certify and issue Hot-Work permit.• Carries out gas freeing of vessels.• Issue of various permits-to-work and operational permits.• Perform firefighting and rescue operations when required.• Conduct periodic site inspection to identify unsafe act and unsafe condition onboard vessels. In addition to that advise to the respective trade to rectify promptly.• Assist to implement company WSHM system.• Conduct daily inspection of project work and activities to ensure compliance with government legislation and company’s regulation.• Enforce compliance and coordinate of permit-to-work (PTW) System.• Inspect Vessel/Workshop with Safety committee members to identify potential hazard and suggest remedial measures.• Conduct In-house safety induction to new employees, contractors and owners.• Update HEC card register and follow up with close up action.• Perform cardio-pulmonary resuscitation and initiate the use of Automated External Defibrillator independently.• Render first aid.• Perform any other duties as assigned by superior (s) from time to time.
