This role was critical in ensuring that the foundational components of the vessels met precise quality and technical requirements.Responsibilities included:- Overseeing the blasting and priming of raw plates to ensure corrosion resistance.- Managing the processing of plates for block fabrication using CNC plasma machines. - Supervising block fabrication, ensuring structural integrity and alignment with design specifications.- Working closely with production teams to meet tight deadlines while maintaining stringent quality standards.This combination of roles has allowed me to develop a comprehensive understanding of the shipbuilding process, from raw material processing to final vessel delivery, contributing to the advancement of the Indian Navy's fleet.
