As of now I am working in steel melting shop (SMS) at BOF (310MT converter)

I have worked in steel melting shop (SMS) under the QA/QC (TSD) department. (TSD- Technical service department).Involved in the Comprehensive Management of macro Lab activities related to slab Quality inspection, Data Reporting, Analysis of slab Quality and Critical Decision Making with varying degrees of impact on Production at different stages of slabs.- Performing the role of various digital transformation system with the team.Job role & responsibilities•Incharge of macro lab where analysis of internal soundness of cast product under the standard as per ASTM E-381 & Mannesmann Chart.•Handling the Sulpher print process and check the result to take a suitable decision on cast product.•Online visual inspection and also inspection in cold state to ensure the surface quality of cast products like Slab, Billet, Bloom, Round.•Chemical composition check of cast products with respect to protocol or TDC ( technical delivery condition)•Due to various garde mixed up during continuous casting, take a decision and diverted to into suitable grade for both slab and billet•Prepare the material test certificate (MTC) for domestic and export material as per EN10204 Type 3.1 (for ISI/WIS) and Form iv (for IBR)•Handling the TPI activity like inspection, product sampling for mechanical testing/chemistry analysis/internal soundness check and documentation with agencies like BV, SGS, IBR, BIS.•Handling the shift man power & ensure 100% safety.•Handling the customer requirement with product related issues.•Failure analysis on the field failed to cast product and prepare the report. •Able to making decision of material whether it prime/defective.•Computer knowledge on SAP (S/4 HANA)

I have worked under the production planning & Despatch department with material handling at Steel Melting shop as a trainee .Job Role & responsibilities•Evaluted current work to understand strategies and help optimize labor utilisation.•Regularly plan for grade casting.•Production reports making.•Handling to stock inventory.•Check the despatch plan for smooth coordination and dispatch•DO received which is issued by road logistic team and provide the loading details for vehicle loading.•Coordination with man power and crane operator for smooth loading in vehicle•Follow up and ensure that vehicle loaded within 2 hrs to maintain VTAT

I have done my internship from prestigious company TATA Metaliks Ltd. for one month at ductile iron pipe division. I have successfully completed my project that was "Expansion behaviour of the ductile iron with respect to heat treatment".
