Hi, welcomeI am a structural BIM manager at DCI Engineers in the San Francisco office. I have over 9 years of CAD design experience in both AutoCAD and Revit structural. I'm Autodesk Certified in Revit Structural 2015. I have worked on a variety of project including residential, high-rise, mid-rise, and podium. One thing I have learned since I been drafting is there is more than one way to complete a task but I tend to find the affinity and the best way. My passion for Revit comes from the productivity and flexibility it provides. A way I have been able to demonstrate that passion is by educating those I work with of the pros, cons, and best practices when it comes to using it on a project (you can call me the nerd of Revit), I love Revit. I have a passion for teaching Revit because the more I teach the more I learn. Before DCI Engineers I joined Keast & Hood Co. in Philadelphia in July of 2012 after earning a degree in specialized technology computer drafting and design. I brought extensive software, 3D modeling, BIM, and CAD skills to my role as a draftsman. In addition to my technical skills, I have experience in residential construction, having spent several years working for a family-run contracting company.
