I find myself at a new crossroads in my career as an architect. After working for many years designing a myriad of building types for public and private clients, I am now beyond simply the quest for beauty and functionality, and even sustainably. I have turned my sights toward exploring an approach that is infused with the basic tenets of humanity, such as compassion, love, and a pledge to nonviolence towards all– humans, animals, and nature. I am searching for an architecture beyond one that does no harm or even withstands harm to one that can undo the harm.
