Undertaking risk assessments of families, gathering information to map needs and chronology of events in regard to all family members, utilizing information from both family and all the agencies involved with the family. Develop an Support plan for each family that the family and agencies involved will work toward achieving.Work in partnership with the police, Probation, Health, Housing, Education, Legal and other agencies in respect of families who present with multiple and complex needs.I ensure the implementation of the work with families who present with multiple and complex needs.I work within or alongside a variety of disciplines, agencies or organizational settings.I assess needs of young people, vulnerable adults or 'at risk' client groups. I apply solution focused and problem solving skills with children, young people and mothers. I implement action plans with families which require regular monitoring and support.

I joined Asian Women's Resource Centre as DV Advice and Information Officer working on ASCENT Project: A partnership within the London VAWG Consortium. Working to end violence against women and girls.

At ASRA Housing Group for 4 years I worked with children which were victims of abuse and violence. I worked with children in order to provide emotional support. I used to run two play therapy and art therapy sessions a week for children to work through their feelings of self worth and to heal their fragile beings. I worked with mothers to help them with parenting skills and to empower them while they had safe environment and time in refuge setting.Later on I went on to work as Floating Support worker to support families experiencing domestic abuse living in the community. Supporting these families with their complex needs. Assessed their needs, undertook risk assessments and safety planning in order to keep them safe. I worked towards empowering mothers so they could live independently and become self-sufficient. Most of these families had problem communicating in english with other professional agencies in order to receive support. I speak three languages so being bilingual was great help in order to advocate on their behalf. I worked in partnership with the police, Health, Housing, Education and other agencies. I am a partner in Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference. We meet once a month to do the safety planning around all of the serious cases in the Borough. It has been very rewarding experience.

I provided practical and emotional support to clients with learning disabilities, with the specific aim of enabling each client to develop skills and social status to experience the highest possible quality of life. Worked within the organizations policies and procedures and ensuring clients well being. Supported clients to participate in day care programs, leisure activities, education independence and living skills.
