I am an outgoing and sociable person with a passion for driving change in the ignored areas of the development sector, that is data driven, impact oriented and inclusive of all stakeholders. I am a firm believer in empowering communities and primary stakeholders so a 'shift' in human behavior may be enabled, versus interventions that provide instant gratification. I have a keen interest in the intersection of humans and animals in the world we live in- understanding and preserving this has been the focus of my career over the past decade. This has enabled me to have a system-wide experience ranging from strategically leading organisations, lobbying government departments, building meaningful relationships with communities, fostering partner organisations, fund raising and donor management.
