About Sumanth Bayya

I am looking for an Intern/ Master thesis in the field of wind engineering. Currently, I am pursuing my master's degree in Hochschule Flensburg. I have finished a project based on the development of a wind turbine with low emission called Optimus L.E 92, where I was responsible for a department of the mechanical drive train. In this, I have done calculations and 3D drawings for the design with the help of software for developing a wind turbine. My biggest aim is to start my career with a reputable firm that will help me further develop myself and challenge me intellectually. Thank you very much for the opportunity.

    Motivation: To design a wind turbine with low emission named "Optimus L.E 92". Description: Especially the turbine was designed from scratch, respectively it is no improvement of elder design focuses. To set a starting point for the designing and engineering, the “Senvion MM92” turbine is one certain reference. I decided to design the department "Mechanical Drive train" which consists of main-shaft, rotor lock, main-bearing, main-bearing housing, gearbox, coupling, and brake. All these components were developed by calculations and drawn as a 3D model using SolidWorks software.
