• Responsible for overall management of R&D activities, and resources, for design, development, and validation of novel LDT/IVD assays (NGS/qPCR) for implementation in clinical research or clinical practice. • Interact with customers such as major biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, and molecular device companies for gathering project requirements, designing project plan, providing initial proposal and budget estimation.• Work closely with internal and external cross-functional teams like Bioinformatics, Clinical Operations, Project Management, Regulatory, Quality, Operations and Sales to ensure smooth delivery of novel assays from R&D through commercialization and/or implementation in CAP/CLIA lab.

Identified the role of AGR2 an estrogen responsive protein disulfide isomerase in mammary gland development and carcinogenesis using transgenic mouse models. Determined that AGR2 plays an essential role in formation and maintenance of alveolar structures during pregnancy and lactation (Manuscript under preparation). Identified the role of Clims, the cofactors for LIM domain binding proteins in mammary epithelial cell homeostasis using 3-D in-vitro cell culture and transgenic mouse models. Based on these results, successfully competed for postdoctoral fellowship from California Breast Cancer Research Program.

Laboratory of Dr. Bruce Blumberg, PhD Study of human nuclear receptor SXR (steroid and xenobiotic receptor) as a target for breast cancer therapeutics. - Outlined and validated the mechanism by which SXR activation stops proliferation of breast cancer cells. Also identified an additional mechanism involving NF-*B cross-talk with SXR and its effect on immune modulation and drug sensitivity.

Conducted a clinical trial study for rapid diagnostic kit (Paracheck-pf) for detecting plasmodium falciparum in patient blood samples and compared it to the traditional microscopic method of detection. Led a team of doctors and nurses to obtain ISO 9001-2000 certification for the hospital.
