I believe in Human face of Policing; that empathy is embedded in law. Therefore, the balancing act for professional and personal life is to be simple and sincere.I am a senior police officer with over 22 years of policing experience in law and order, crime investigation, criminal intelligence work, crime data analytics, human trafficking, cyber safety, women (and child) safety and community policing through the multi stakeholder approach. I completely comprehend the necessity of process standardization, analytics, and multi-agency approaches as solutions in the areas of complex crimes like cross-border intelligence-led crimes, including human trafficking, serious sexual crimes against women, and crimes against children.I managed to establish community-centric models for the prevention of commonly occurring crimes:1. Chetana (2014-16): Establishing distress counselling centers for the victims of domestic abuse.2. Vikalpa (2016-18): An initiative for eradicating organized prostitution in Hyderabad city with the help of multiple stakeholders including Prajwala, an NGO led by Sunitha Krishnan.3. Job Connect (2016-17): Through the use of a technology platform, police connected job seekers and job providers. What began as an initiative of one police zone in the Hyderabad Police Commissionerate later became a successful community policing initiative for the entire state with the aid of a platform called TMI. 4. Nenu Saitham: A community-driven project that permitted the installation of numerous cameras across the state began as a small and concerted effort.5. Bharosa: As a member of the exclusive Women Safety vertical of Telangana, launched and aided in the expansion of "BHAROSA" centers in various police districts of the state.6. CybHER (Cyber spaces made safe for Her)/Cyber Congress: During Covid, the effort was grounded and scaled up to cover 1650 educational institutions across the state, backed up by adequate survey, planning, and execution.7. Establishment of Cyber Lab: A one-of-a-kind programme in which a Cyber Lab was developed to combat cybercrime against women and children through Cyber Patrol and collaboration on Cyber Intelligence networks. As a professional, I continue to commit myself for the improvisation and standardization of policing models for effective management of serious crimes. I look forward to and will continue to work for results with a twin strategy of community-driven policing backed by effective data analytics and standardization.
