• Certified Oracle DBA with 2+ years hands on experience in managing EDW,OLTP and DSS Oracle databases.• Skilled in using advanced oracle tools.• Hands on experience in Real application cluster, ASM , Dataguard , DBVISIT, Golden gate and RMAN.• Responsible for collecting the capacity and availability requirements of new and changed IT services and develop and maintain a forward-looking plan approximately 1 year for every service/tower• Review capacity and availability plan and preparing Predictive analysis from the past trend• Prepare monthly reports, compare the data with historical trends, perform analysis and share the detailed reports to the respective technical groups to proactively identify and manage service improvements and provide appropriate solutions that meet the customer requirements. This is also an input to the capacity plan.• Prepare capacity forecast for the entire estate using customer inputs, projects in pipeline and approximate assumptions and share it to the finance team for procurement.• Preparing Weekly & Monthly Availability, Reliability(MTBF) & Maintainability(MTTR) report for Critical Applications, Sites & Services• Providing inputs to SLM team for Calculating service credit for the Cis missing availability target as per the contract based on the OLA/SLA & KPI measurement• Providing all the gaps, Cis missing availability target, List of Cis crossed CPU, Memory, Disk space utilization threshold, Exception report to the Monthly Operations Review (MOR) meeting.• Reviewing the impact due to the planned changes (Normal & Expedited changes)• Trend of monthly planned changes & their downtime to reduce the impact on the services. (Considering Emergency change outages as unplanned)• Trend of frequent reboots of Cis, job run through incident & change references.• Participating CAB/CCB for the Availability & capacity related change approval• Ensuring Every Reactive Availability & capacity incident has the Proactive alerts as per the defined threshold.• Trend of all Proactive Alerts (Events). Focusing on Reduction of Repetitive Proactive events.
