Introduced 20 incoming students to KPU by establishing connections both virtually and face-to-face, guiding them through the initial stages of their university journey. Conducted weekly check-in correspondences with all assigned students, fostering transparent communication and promptly resolving any issues or queries. Directed students to various KPU support services such as peer tutoring, advising, and counseling, ensuring they had access to essential resources vital for their academic progress. In my role as an International Peer Mentor, I played a pivotal role in welcoming new students to KPU, offering guidance and support to help them navigate the university environment seamlessly. Through regular communication and referrals to pertinent services, I endeavored to empower students to thrive academically and personally during their time at KPU.
