- Mentored the 2013 NASA Ames Aeronautics Academy group project - RAPTOR (Rotorcraft Applications for Bay Area Public TranspORtation) over their 10 week internship period. - Key responsibilities included: project management and technical guidance (regarding the theoretical and experimental components of the project)- Conducted research on the dynamics and control of a cooperative slung-load system using multiple quadcopters.

- Worked with a team of engineers to design, test and optimize a 3-axis reaction wheel control system for a 'CubeSat' - implemented using Android software development technology and Arduino microcontrollers.- Developed the ADCS sub-system for satellite simulation using MATLAB & Simulink, and performed tests on tethered and air-bearing systems for design optimisation (involved hardware blocks parameterisation, digital and analogue circuit design, software debugging and embedded systems programming)- Developed the mechanical design and structure for the integration of multiple sub-payloads for asuborbital sounding rocket in collaboration with UP Aerospace (involved CAD model and assembly development)

- Designed, developed and manufactured a customized vacuum chamber for testing inertial MEMS devices (accelerometers and gyroscopes)- Designed and machined unique parts for vibration and translation free PCB mounting- Created 3D CAD models and wiring schematics for the chamber- Performed FE analysis to ensure structural integrity with respect to vacuum conditions and induced inertial forces during testing- Produced presentations for weekly design review meetings

- Worked on the design and development of 'Dove 1' and 'Dove 2' satellites- Designed and performed innovative tests and experiments for various hardware and softwarecomponents for design verification and optimization including: attitude control system, imaging equipment thermal-vacuum tests and view filters
