Created and launched the NYC division of Clearco’s Venture Partnerships team, building out the firm’s presence, awareness, and advocacy across the investor community (Angels, VCs, PE firms) across the entire United States (and assisted growth in Europe and Australia). At its peak, deals sourced by the Venture Partnerships team comprised around 25% of Clearco’s total revenue.Established multiple ecosystem partnerships with investors, startup accelerators, startup incubators, banks, law firms, outsourced CFO firms, and equity crowdfunding platforms through fundraising workshops, intercreditor agreements, and Working-Capital-as-a-Service landing pages.Assisted in the creation and management of a post-acquisition working capital funding strategy for acquisition companies.Created, launched, and managed a global internal deal flow newsletter, assisting successful Clearco-backed founders with obtaining equity capital from a select group of over 125 angel investors, venture capital firms, and private equity shops.Created and launched Venture Partnerships’ event strategy through monthly networking events (Cold Drinks, Warm Intros) and sector-focused founder and investor dinners (Deals & Meals). Ultimately hosted 25 events across 8 cities in US and Europe and generated significant new and repeat business. Moreover, these events never cost Clearco any money due to my looping in multiple financial and event sponsors.Created and launched the New City Plan, dedicated to expanding Clearco’s presence and work across US-based consumer hubs including: Boulder, CO; Nashville, TN; Austin, TX; Columbus/Cleveland/ Cincinnati, OH; Miami, FL.
