Scope of the Position Responsible for the timely placement of purchase orders and delivery of materials to meet customers’ orders requirements and maintain stock inventory levels within approved guidelines.Key Result Areas: *Purchasing material for inventory and stock items for the branches and customer orders. *Preparing purchase orders and faxing, mail and/or EDI over to Vendors. *Monitoring to make sure fax and/or Edi’s went through and confirm the shipment dates and updating system. *Resolving errors on purchase orders as required. *Investigating and determine the material came in correctly or damaged (for non-conformance). *Reviewing open Purchase orders not printed. *Other duties as assigned (Using SAP) *Quote price to the Customer (Bulk order).
