I am a recent Masters student from the University of Pennsylvania in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics. My education and experience include work on several projects including Robotics, Mechatronics, Aerial Robotics, Computer Vision, Haptics, Electric Cars, Vehicle Dynamics, Path Planning, Autonomous Navigation, Machine and Deep Learning and Rapid hardware prototyping.Being a technology enthusiast all my life, I have always tried to bridge the gap I between knowledge and experience through a variety of projects both academic and extra-Curricular. I was a member of Penn Electric Racing team for 2 years with responsibility for performance and vehicle dynamics simulation. We took part in FSAE Formula North electric competition 2017 in Barrie, Canada (1st Overall) and Formula SAE - Electric in Lincoln Nebraska 2016 (2nd Overall) & 2017(1st overall). I have also done quite a few projects in the field of mechatronics. The one I would like to highlight is on making autonomous robots that can play hockey. The skills I developed here were multi-disciplinary in nature like product designing, rapid prototyping, embedded programming, control systems engineering, system calibration and developing the electrical circuit. I used the ATMEL Studio platform for embedded programming on Atmega 32U4 Microcontroller in C. This tool is used to test the feasibility of design in aerodynamics, simulate lap time, driver training, tire wear and identify suspension settings based on track and car model. We validate this simulated data with the data generated from onboard data acquisition computer and used it for research and development during pre-season testing.
