Purchase of CIVIL, ELECTRO-MECHANICAL, AND STRUCTURAL STEEL materials for various projects after detailed verification and analysis of Price, Quality, Specifications, delivery and payment terms as per the company purchase system procedures.Inventory Control (Central Stores), Monitoring of Material deliveries, Stock movements, verification of Deliveries against Local Purchase Order.Coordinating with Project Managers/ Material Engineers for obtaining approvals from Consultants/ClientsCoordinating with Site Engineers for material deliveries , Inter-site material transfers . All correspondence with Suppliers & Sub-ContractorsSelection of SUB CONTRACTORS in co-ordination with Commercial department according to their performance.As per the ISO procedures, as a Purchase Officer I maintain the following records:- Vendor History Card, Purchase order Status, Material cost of various Projects, Supplier files, Standard price list for all Building Materials etc.

Purchase of Building Materials on a reasonable and negotiated price as per the specifications and requirement of the projects, and preparation of LPO. Also coordinate with the suppliers for the proper delivery of materials as per the LPO, Preparation of Material Receipt Vouchers, Purchase day book, Verification of Invoices, Delivery notes, and other routine functions.
