Growing up I have always been interested in machines and mechanics hence, made me pursue bachelor’s in mechanical engineering. I had a fantastic experience during my engineering where I gained versatile knowledge and insight into various disciplines such as automotive, design and energy. In 2018 I got an amazing opportunity to work as an intern in a gear manufacturing company where I worked hands on different machining operations in the gear division. It was wonderful to watch a rough piece of block become an intricate and important piece of a machine. I learned about workplace safety, attention to detail and gained confidence in my engineering concepts.Mechanical Engineering helped me master some very vital skills such as -• MACHINE DRAWING• COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN• COMPUTER AIDED MANUFACTURING• STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS• AUTOCAD• FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS• MECHATRONICS & CONTROL SYSTEMSIn 2019, I made a life changing decision to pursue on my masters in energy management. My passion is to contribute in the energy sector. Energy is crucial for economic growth and prosperity of life, this proper balance must be maintained to protect the environment and making progress as a community. I want to contribute in the energy sector and use my knowledge from the engineering background with my energy management skills and advance towards a better future.Energy management gave me a clear understanding of important driving factors towards clean energy such as transportation, electricity generation that need to be improved to be energy efficient moving forward.
