Beats By Dre is a company I grew up admiring, and having the chance to work here was a dream come true. As the sole intern on the product team, I championed data-driven research to validate new & ongoing products across the Beats portfolio, thoroughly pursued and presented product ideas in adjacent markets, and led an executive-facing product launch pitch with teammates in Brand, PR, and Marketing. Working at Beats (and interfacing between engineering, marketing, channel, and more) taught me valuable lessons in product management for consumer electronics--with the additional layer of being grounded in an iconic cultural brand. Interfacing with different teams on a daily basis, and the Apple team at large, helped improve my strengths of communication and collaboration. Overall, these were a great few months and I'm grateful to my Recruiter, Manager, and the Beats/Apple family for the opportunity!

Assisted with A&R operations and research, including finding new talent, meeting with managers and artists, setting up studio sessions, and working with artists in the studio to package records. Employed qualitative and quantitative methods across social media, blogs, and data API's to find sought-after talent and present it to staff.
