Reporting to the CIO, Leads a team of 15 internal applications development, operations and support staff plus 15 offshore contract staff implementing, running and supporting a mix of core Oracle ERP running Global Sourcing, Finance, and HRMS operations and Shared Services, Middleware, cloud-based applications like e-sourcing, Concur, etc, As a member of the CEO’s extended leadership team serves along with other top leaders on the steering committee to define 5year strategic growth vision/plans, culture/values and key initiatives for the company overall. Presents recommendation for IT vision, strategy and roadmap to achieve overall corporate objectives. Has a dual role as Director IT working with the Industrial Division defining and implementing business solutions. • Develops and improves Application Strategy, Change, Risk, Project/Program/Portfolio Management, and Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery.o Builds ERP Roadmap and defines long-term strategy.o Provides career development and performance management for all employees within the IT department, including performance assessments, training and development plans, competency assessment and compensation planning.o Led multiple ERP consolidations to a single global Oracle ERP instance. Applied “lessons learned” in earlier attempts to define a single set of business processes that would globally with special attention to change management to make sure that the new processes stick.o Implemented and administers Finance, Sourcing and HRMS modules including Order-to-Cash, Procure to Pay, Manufacturing and Planning track, Design and Development along with Production Support.o Created and deployed entity-level policy and procedures around all aspects of the IT lifecycle including SDLC, IT Governance, IT Service Delivery and IT Asset.
