Major deliverables include Pulsar 125, P150, N160, F250, N250, and Avengers 220 black edition.Major Responsibilities-1.2D Engine Layout, Engine Packaging, 3D Assembly integration & EC releases.2. Engine BOM preparation and releases.3. Integrating and packaging check with the vehicle integration team for Transmission, Intake, Exhaust & Cooling system.3.Overview knowledge of Cylinder head, Crankcases, covers, engine oil path,Valve Train, Crank Train, Transmission, Shifting, Intake, Exhaust, Cooling andEngine Electrical systems.4. In depth knowledge of different dyno and vehicle level engine durability tests.5. Motion simulation for Crank train parts6. Based on DMU feedback engine, intake system, exhaust system and Oil coolerRelated parts 3D updation.7. Knowledge of engine regulatory activities like emission, Homologation.8. In depth knowledge of DFM, DFA, DFS & DFMEA.9. Tolerance and stack analysis as per design requirements.10. Coordination with CAE analyst for design changes required to meet analyticalfunctional requirements.11. Determine engine problems, and make amendments.12. Co-ordination with engine assembly, Testing and validation team, manufacturing, componentdevelopment teams related to part manufacturing, assembly and durability issues.13. Analyzing and compiling test and validation data.14. Assembly sequence, Tightening torque data preparation for assembly purposes.15. Fixture design, Assembly tools design and manufacturing.16. Addressing engine quality issues, Vendor visits for manufacturing process issues.17. VAVE proposals, Testing and validation for VAVE proposals.18. Support to the project management team in project costing, timeline meet.19. Benchmarking of competitors engine for engine related parts.20. Support the Homologation team for documentation and drawing preparation.
