I am an agricultural professional with over 15 years of rich experience, combining extensive knowledge of farming and cultivation with 6 years of expertise in the Agri-input industry. Currently, I serve as Deputy Manager at Sumitomo Chemical India Limited, where I focus on delivering crop protection solutions and advancing sustainable agricultural practices.Having grown up in a farmer family, I am deeply committed to working with and for the farming community. My passion lies in helping farmers optimize productivity and profitability while fostering sustainable practices across crops like citrus (Kinnow & Malta), cotton, paddy, and wheat.My academic journey, highlighted by an M.Sc. in Entomology from Dr. YS Parmar University of Horticulture & Forestry (Nauni, Solan, HP), which laid the foundation for my contributions to agriculture. Key milestones in my career include: • Cotton whitefly management at Abohar Block while White fly pandemic at Farmer level with the Punjab Agriculture Department as Field Supervisor. • Leading integrated pest management (IPM) research as a Senior Research Fellow at CIPMC Jalandhar. • Achieving significant success at Indofil Industries Ltd. by managing sales marketing across Moga, Jagraon and Zira, resulting in the highest business performance in Punjab.I specialize in citrus cultivation, entomology, and integrated pest management, and I am passionate about translating my knowledge into actionable benefits for the farming community.Outside of work, I enjoy traveling to discover new cultures, listening to music to unwind, and capturing life’s memorable moments through photography.
