Research to improve the steady flow simulation quality beneficial for the Aerospace and Automobile design sector. The aim of the project was to develop a procedure for automatic adaptation of the degree of meshes for the Hybridized Discontinuous Galerkin (HDG) Solver, enhancing the quality of meshes for the steady flow simulation.A novel P-adaptivity algorithm was developed for the HDG solver for solving compressible Euler’s equation. This algorithm avoids the additional computation for the estimated errors which is prevalent in other p-adaptivity methods where it needs to calculate a whole new additional problem.Programming Tools: FORTRAN, MATLAB, Microsoft Visual Studio.

The analysis was carried out on a small fabric surface model using load and boundary conditions and surface pressure load. It was observed that the fabric with the elastic cord can sustain a higher degree of impact from the wind. I worked for 3 years and 3 months in Rasuwagadhi Hydropower Project (Lot 1 Civil and Hydromechanical Works), under a Chinese contractor company China International Water and Electric Corporation (CWE) as an Assistant Mechanical Engineer in Nepal. I was involved in technical documentation and correction of technical 2D CAD drawings as per the discussion with the project’s consultant (SMEC) engineers within a time limit to achieve the project's milestone. I understood the working of technical drawings which improved my CAD modelling skills (in AUTOCAD), the importance of meeting deadlines and technical knowledge of the equipment used in the project site.
