Develop peer-to-peer relationships with KOLs and other health care stakeholders to foster Pfizer's efforts to establish and maintain its therapeutic leadership position in the evolving healthcare environment for the Antibacterial and Antifungal brands in the Infectious Diseases area.Develop, champion and leverage Investigator Initiated Research and Health research partnership opportunities in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to maximize investments for Zyvoxam (linezolid), Vfend (voriconazole) and Eraxis (anidulafungin).Create Medical Business and Cross-functional Plans to optimize opportunities and address current issues within the Canadian market for the respective assets.Identify and foster constructive cross-functional relationships with internal and external stakeholders to create and leverage investments.Drive and leverage business contributions to establish leadership positions for Pfizer.Share knowledge and expertise to ensure the ongoing development of colleagues.

Manage the HIV portfolio - through contact with HIV KOLs and clinics - Infectious Disease, HIV General Practitioners, AIDS Service Organizations.Involved with the launch of a novel entry inhibitor Celsentri to the Ontario HIV community.Disseminate information to KOLs and regional partners when appropriate to promote best medicine and protocol usage in HIV regimens through scientific evidence based medicine.Establish and maintain a clear understanding of the HIV marketplace, develop and maintain a superior level of product and disease state knowledge.Support the effective delivery of POA workshops and execution through fieldwork activities in order to reach established goals. Manage the Pain & Inflammation (PI) portfolio - Celebrex, Lyrica and Relpax - through contact with specialists (Rheumatologists, Orthopedic Surgeons, Anesthetists, Acute Pain Services, Neurologists, Neurosurgeons, Psychiatrists, Endocrinologists, Nephrologists, Palliative Care), and multi-disciplinary teams in territory to promote Pfizer Pain and Inflammation products with the required frequency.Develop advocates for Pfizer's PI products through the initiation and implementation of Regional Speaker/Advocate Development programs.Disseminate information to local and Regional PI Specialists and regional partners when appropriate to promote best medicine and protocol usage in PI disciplines through scientific evidence based medicine related to Pfizer's PI products.Establish and maintain a clear understanding of the PI marketplace, develop and maintain a superior level of product and disease state knowledge.Support the effective delivery of POA workshops and execution through fieldwork activities in order to reach established goals. Created focused and targeted business plans for the Arthritis portfolio - Celebrex, Bextra and Arthrotec, Lyrica and Aricept brands in a territory with aggressive sales quota.Established very strong relationships with all Key Physicians for the arthritis, neuropathic pain and dementia markets resulting in strong sales growth for promoted products.Demonstrated superior product knowledge in all therapeutic areas.Effectively present clinical reprints to customers and highlight the key points to ultimately increase sales for promoted products.Organized numerous CHE's with key physicians for Celebrex, Aricept and Lyrica including coaching facilitators/speakers to deliver the appropriate messaging.Involved in 2 successful product launches: Bextra and Lyrica.Coached new representatives within my territory.

Investigated polymers to improve the cold flexibility of Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (HNBR) used in automobile engines..Various terpolymer compositions were examined to improve the cold flexibility of the HNBR.Predictive calculations were performed to estimate the terpolymer compositions and Glass Transition temperatures.Synthesized promising terpolymers using standard NBR emulsion recipes followed by analyses involving NMR and DSC techniques.
