The COEP Satellite project “Swayam” is a student-led initiative revolving around the design and fabrication of a 1-U Pico-satellite having a HAM Communication payload in the Low Earth orbit.1) A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between COEP and ISRO on 23rd May 2013, for the development and launch of SWAYAM. 2) The team cleared the Critical Design Review with ISRO in September 2014. The Flight Model assembly and testing was completed at ISAC, Bangalore in February 2015. 3) 'Swayam' was launched on 22nd June 2016 with ISRO's CARTOSAT-2C4) Satellite’s Structure System Head, played key role in establishing MOU between COEP & ISRO - 2013-145) Led team of 8 to build India’s 1st passively stabilized satellite which is also India’s 4th student satellite & India’s smallest satellite with volume of 1 Litre

Internship Project: Analysis of engine valve using Clemex 500 microhardness tester and Micro-rockwell hardness tester. Automated the process of microhardness testing to save 2 man hours per test on a valve. Determined the heating profile on valve cross section using hardness as tempering affects the regional hardness of valve.

Study the material flow in heat treatment plant and understand the carburizing process. Worked on changing the decking of the trays which carry gears in the oven so that quenching will be uniform and surface hardening will be proper.
