Sumit is Partner with Deloitte India and member of Tax Executive Committee, Deloitte South Asia, in his role as the Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer. In his current role, Sumit is responsible for shaping Business strategy to deliver the aspirational growth of Tax business of the firm as well as drive digital innovation initiatives aimed to position Deloitte as the leading Tax services brand and #1 choice for Talent. Sumit also leads the firm’s Continental Europe Corridor for clients and market growth at the Green Dot level. With more than two decades of experience in International Taxation and Transaction Tax Advisory, Sumit serves several large Corridor clients of the firm as the Lead Client Partner. Previously, has contributed to growth of the firm in a number of other leadership positions. Sumit has led industry initiatives as Tax leader for Oil, Gas & Chemicals Sector, and Aerospace & Defence sector at Deloitte India. Also he has driven growth initiatives for Tax business across the Tax Operate and GIC client programme.
