Our design projects include new build and conversions, offices, healthcare facilities, community and urban regeneration projects. The common threads through the diverse range of projects have been the integration of sustainable design and the public engagement. These projects are located in the UK, Spain, France and India. Ecologic has presented its work at the RIBA, through architecture journals and popular magazines and exhibitions such as Grand Designs.

I am the founding director of Charushila, a registered environmental design charity. Charushila supports sustainable development through community engagement by working with children and youth. Charushila has worked on community projects in Venezuela, the UK, India and Palestine.Charushila also organises lectures and workshops. During 2011-12, it organised a series of lectures and events at the RIBA and at other venues in the UK and abroad.

Under my chairmanship, Architects for Change organised seminars and lectures on good employment practice and equal opportunities and helped organise the DiverseCity exhibition (led by Women In Architecture) which travelled to over 30 countries. RIBA adopted its own equal opportunities policy during my chairmanship and commissioned the seminal research, Why women leave architecture? I was part of the CABE panel which examined why BAME students leave architecture. My first book, Architecture for Rapid Change and Scarce Resources, was published by Routledge, 2012, as course book and now has been adopted for design professionals in the USA.
