I have passion for providing quality care to patients, and the necessary leadership skills to inspire other staff members to strive to provide above standard level of service.In my present role as a Registered Nurse at St. Josephs Regional Medical DePaul Ambulatory Care Center, Paterson, I’m tasked with providing care for all adults in varying age range, promoting and encouraging compliance towards self-care. Creating a patient centered care plan and facilitating family involvement and or the designated care partner by teaching and making them aware of the necessary safety measures and also assist patients to cope with evolving health concerns affecting their mobility, balance and loss of cognition. I’m passionate in educating the patients about their health issues and making them aware of preventive measures keeping in mind their specific care requirements related to age, culture, religious, and gender variables and overall develop appropriate plan of care.In addition to my 9+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse, my experience in serving at the Naval Hospital as Corpsman, working as a volunteer nurse at the BVMI at Hackensack for 3 years, helped me realize and implement clinical duties and thorough care of the patients without any compromises in their care. I was commended for proficiently handling difficult situations with patients and their family members especially working with different cultures, age and gender.
