Aspiring neuroscientist and former research assistant at Center for Neuroscience in Indian Institute of Science. Highly ambitious and purposeful with over three years of experience in molecular neurobiology. Having worked on topics that encompass neurodegeneration, neuroinflammation and astrogliosis, possess multiple skills required to identify a targeted approach to treat brain disorders. Eventually I wish to devote my career to study age related neurodegenerative disorders to help enhance quality of life in the elderly.I hold proficiency in molecular biology techniques like molecular cloning, qRT-PCR, insitu-hybridization etc. and techniques like perfusion fixation, cryosectioning, immunohistochemistry, primary neuron culture and immunocytochemistry.
