I have worked with Alliance Tires Americas, which is a part of Yokohama Rubber Company as a Supply Chain Analyst. I analyzed 2 years of transit shipment data to project transit lead times aiming at providing 95% accurate data to the sales team. Proposed an electronic filing system for all the documents (Customs Clearance Packets, invoices, ASN, QIR) saving approximately 76 resource hours weekly and eliminates the need to print. Overall I have approximated their savings of 105K USD annually. Also improved internal and external auditing capabilities for ATA. I have also managed inventory adjustments along with Quality Issue Reports (QIRs) before the necessary containers are received in the warehouses. As an operations intern at Crux Prestressing, which is a construction company, I successfully reduced the WIP inventory by 23% through the implementation of the Kanban system. Also reduced freight expenditure by 18% by analyzing the truck routes and delivery schedules. Collaborated with warehouse supervisors and the production team to efficiently oversee the constant flow of units in and out of an existing inventory and provided feedback. I made alterations in packaging size & capacity to withstand an increase in production volume.
