-Managing a team of 13 Platform Engineers -Supporting a farm of 11000 + servers spread across DTU and PROD environments on premise and cloud.-Involved in managing and troubleshooting Linux Infrastructure and web technologies-Building strong team - Review manpower needs and responsibly hire. - Control attrition. - Oversee training processes for new joiners. - Develop and Retain high performing associates. -Work on Incident Management, Request Items and Problem Management-Continuously improve the team, tools and processes, support regular agile releases of applications and architectural improvements.-Proactive monitoring of Linux platform and ownership of these tools/dashboards.-Work with delivery and engineering teams to develop the platform and technologies, striving to automate where possible.- Expanded Platforms function in Bangalore by transitioning 3 engineers for Delivery and building a growth path for the team and adding 3 new positions for Engineering function.- Moving from Ops to Engineering and Product based teams.- Building Engineered Solutionso VM Creation Self Service – CMDB, Jenkins, Python o Patching Automation – AWX Tower, Ansible, CMDBo Decommission Automation – Jira, Gitlab, AWX Tower- Improve Dev experience and reduce Platform dependencies.- Ensure that the Platform stays complaint in all audits in terms of Patching, Security, Inventory Management, Backups and ensure Business runs smooth- Support Nomad Containerization platform

* Manage the overall Operational Efficiency of the team.* Report Weekly & Monthly Operational metrics.* Rolling out new process changes/ Projects to achieve better Operation metrics.* Track the recurring Product issues, bugs & Customer feedback and work with the respective Product squad for a permanent resolution. * Mentoring & coaching individuals for an increased level of responsibility & creativity.* Building strong team - Review manpower needs and responsibly hire. - Control attrition. - Oversee training processes for new joiners. - Develop and Retain high performing associates.* Track and report Key Performance Indicator data for your team.

* Handle Customer escalations from all mediums.* Escalate complex system-wide issues or bugs to software engineering teams and get a permanent resolution.* Work on projects to track the team performance and work closely with the team to improve the Operation Metrics.* Identify the recurring issues and provide simplified solutions.

* Provide level 2 tickets support for Shared Hosting Products & level 1 support for premium products [VPS/Dedi/Cloud] while maintaining high customer satisfaction.* Assist L1 team & Frontline Teams [Phone and Chat support teams] via internal jabber conferences* Identify & escalate complex system-wide issues or bugs to the relevant teams.* Identify recurring issues and provide simplified solutions.* Assist Security & Abuse teams. * Build an effective Support Knowledge Base that helps the Support Teams.

Coordinating with team for requirement mapping, implementation, system design & integration for Linux and Windows Server Administration.Dealing with administration work on several control panels like CPanel, Plesk, Enkompass, Virtuzzo etc and Customized Servers.Resolving queries regarding production servers and extending onsite support including maintenance of software support for servers.Performing design engineering activities to maximize network capacity while troubleshooting problems pertaining to performance tuning, network administration, application conflicts and system bugs.Responsible for ensuring uniformity and adherence to internal IT procedures, accounting and reporting.
