I provided leadership for Plant Controls and DCS Requisition for GE Power & Water Thermal controls business across the globe. My areas of my expertise are in Combined Cycle & Simple Cycle Power Plant controls, specially in Heat Recovery Steam Generators and Balance of Plant.

Responsibilities: • Managing teams of 4-5 engineers for DCS Engineering execution.• Providing technical direction to ensure on time delivery and quality of engineering deliverables.• Finalizing overall project design specifications during project kick off meeting.• Ordering of Hardware to GE Salem Factory.• Coordination with manufacturing, sourcing and technical teams for on time delivery at site.• Strategic planning of DCS project schedule, project material & engineering budget.• Ordering of third party equipment like Network cabinets, Control room consoles.• Development of Control system library for Software based on project control system specifications.• Developing control system interfaces for Profibus devices from Aumatic, Rotork and Siemens.• Design and configuration for Modbus data links for the entire plant.• Conducting design reviews with teams for ensuring quality.• Conducting FAT's for projects at various GE locations across the globe.• Working with team to close any punch list items before shipping the software and hardware to site• Coordinating with commissioning teams for any technical support required during startups.• Providing resolutions to the customer issues with a sense of urgency and commitment.• Create, track and evaluate internal metrics, and management reporting to identify project performance and risks.Additional Responsibilities:• Currently leading a simplification effort to standardize GE HRSG Software design in order to facilitate faster logic implementation. Responsibilities:• Testing and validation of DCS Block ware for Mark Vie Platform.• Design of Mark VIe hardware based on project specifications.• Review of P&ID’s for HRSG and BOP systems.• Review of IO database with respect to project requirements.• Proactively communicating any discrepancies or design changes required with respect to project to project lead for getting on time resolution.• Implementation of control software for various HRSG vendors e.g. Doosan, CMI & VOGT in GE Control ST Software.• Implementation of HMI graphics for HRSG and BOP systems on GE Cimplicity platform.• Testing of all control loops and devices as per control narratives/ guidelines.• Testing of Mark Vie hardware and documenting results with respect to network redundancy, Panel powering up, testing of various Input/output modules.• Demonstration of hardware functionality and complex HRSG & BOP loops to customers during FAT at Salem Factory USA.
