Associate Manager - Mern Stack Developer
CurrentWorking as a UI Team Lead in a banking application migration to the cloud. My role is to ensure that the user interface is optimized for performance, security, and scalability while transitioning from on-premises systems to cloud infrastructure.Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with project managers, cloud architects, and product owners to understand requirements, goals, and timelines for the migration.Team Coordination: Manage the UI development team, set expectations, assign tasks, and ensure timely delivery of UI components.API Integration: Collaborate with back-end teams to ensure seamless API integration, especially when migrating from on-premises databases to cloud-based.Microservices Architecture: Design the front-end to work with microservices and distributed systems, ensuring a smooth user experience with decoupled services running in the cloud.Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor UI performance post-migration and optimize further as necessary.Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve any UI-related issues that arise in the cloud environment, ensuring minimal disruption to banking services.Customer Feedback Loop: Work with product managers and stakeholders to gather user feedback post-migration and implement any necessary UI/UX enhancements.Technology Stack Selection: Choose appropriate front-end technologies, frameworks and libraries that integrate well with cloud platforms.Code Quality and Standards: Establish and enforce coding standards, version control (Git), and ensure best practices (e.g., code reviews, unit testing).Performance Optimization: Optimize UI components for performance in cloud environments, such as minimizing load times, enhancing caching strategies, and reducing latency.Security and Compliance: Work closely with security teams to ensure that the UI complies with banking security standards, including secure handling of sensitive data (encryption, secure authentication).
