As an Operational Project Manager in the Office of Research Support and Compliance (ORSC), I am responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of multiple projects ensuring consistency with UNC Health Care System strategy and goals. I primarily work on the ONE UNC Clinical Research Initiative, which is a collaboration between UNC-CH and UNC Health to integrate research as a component of clinical care. In this role, I primarily supported the Neurodevelopmental Trajectories of Reward Processing in Very Early Emerging Risk for Depression study. This was a federally funded longitudinal program of research investigating brain development and risk for depression in preschoolers. My primary responsibilities included interacting with and testing preschool-age children, participating in the collection of EEG data from preschool-age children, attending fMRI scans with preschoolers and their families, assisting with study recruitment and scheduling, and participating in data entry and coding. Additional responsibilities included the following:•Facilitating the federally funded Neurodevelopmental Trajectories of Reward Processing in Very Early Emerging Risk for Depression (NTREC) study, contributing to the exploration of brain development and the identification of depression risk factors in preschoolers.•Conducting in-depth interviews with caregivers utilizing a semi-structured psychiatric interview to assess their preschool-age children's developmental and mental health.•Providing support to the Principal Investigator (PI) in managing grant-related administrative tasks and reporting.•Overseeing the daily activities of 6+ undergraduate research assistants, ensuring efficient workflow.•Engaging in direct interaction and assessment of preschool-age children, actively participating in the collection of EEG data, and attending fMRI scans.
