CurrentAs an Operational Project Manager in the Office of Research Support and Compliance (ORSC), I am responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of multiple projects ensuring consistency with UNC Health Care System strategy and goals. I primarily work on the ONE UNC Clinical Research Initiative, which is a collaboration between UNC-CH and UNC Health to integrate research as a component of clinical care. I also support clinical research activities at six UNC Health Network Entity locations.•Managed the planning, coordination, and execution of 60+ projects between the University and HCS, ensuring alignment with the ONE UNC Clinical Research Initiative, which aimed to integrate clinical research as a component of clinical care.•Utilized analytical skills and data to improve processes, promoting the adoption of best practices and standardizing reliable processes.•Acted as a facilitator and negotiator in challenging situations, directing change and encouraging objective evaluation of situations to identify the best solutions.•Managed clinical research operations across 6 UNC hospitals, driving seamless coordination and efficiency, while spearheading initiatives to enhance research infrastructure and broaden UNC Health’s research scope.•Supported system-wide strategic planning efforts by collaborating with cross-functional teams and developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), collecting baseline data, assessing risks and interdependencies, and coordinating workgroups.•Worked directly with Executive Leaders, physicians, and other clinical and non-clinical leaders to assess and understand the clinical research landscape at UNC-CH/UNC Health, fostering a collaborative environment for improvements.
