I have been wanting to make video games for as long as I can remember. No matter what, I always went back to the idea of being a game designer for my career multiple times throughout my time in middle and high school. The ideas I tend to have seem to be a mixture of surrealist horror, traditional horror, and fantasy due to my fascination with the genres. My goals in the industry are to bring more representation through myself and through the ideas and art I am capable of creating. I’m inspired by situations, regardless of whether it actually happened to me or if it happened in a Dungeons & Dragons session. Those situations are capable of producing so much emotion in me that tends to stay with me for long periods of time afterwards. I would translate the emotions that I experienced, such as, heartache, elation, and suspense, and convey them to new people through new experiences. Since I want to convey very heavy emotions in the games I design, I want to work on games that are more thematic like Beyond: Two Souls, Life is Strange, and The Last of Us or massive open world RPGs like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Those games have had a major impact on me both personally and in my work. My work has become much more heartfelt with connections to life as I have been growing emotionally.
