Primary Duties:*Manage and improve calibration program.*Design, develops and implements sample techniques, control charts, pareto diagrams and any other aspects of SPC and problem solving.*Instructs and coordinates all employees involved in the development and/or implementation of SPC and problem solving.*Design or acquire tools or devices necessary for.

• Responsible for managing hourly operations of 100+ employees.
• Directing, planning, assigning work, and scheduling overtime between 4 production lines.
• Planning and allocating resources, materials and scheduling of equipment for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel/
• Managing performance agreements for coordinators and team leaders (as part of our team-based work environment) as well as mentoring and leading employees of the 7 teams within the lines.
• Utilize UTC’s operating system and established tools and techniques to improve operations’ performance and reduce waste, delays and costs.
• Develop processes for effective utilization of production methods, equipment layout, and material handling. These include working with personnel to incorporate PM’s scheduled for lines or other machinery.

• Maintaining Shift Scrap and RGV items from all departments; ensuring correct tagging procedures and disposition is carried out. Then following up with corrective action and or training to maintain an accurate process.
• Maintaining and updating Scrap and IPPM data through LPS systems and logs; knowledge in AS400 for quality tracking of parts, SQTS, and Quality Gate Systems and usage.
• Set-up and maintain Containment within the facility for process or quality related issues; assist in the running of PTR parts. Assisting sister facilities with launches of new products or customers and creating methods.
• GM Liaison – troubleshooting in GCA audits, S&R (Squeak and Rattle) room, Final process, and Trim Department; Internal Audits for GM while maintaining Barometer Charts for VOC (Voice of Customer) champions. Updating.
• Working directly with Suppliers to root cause issues, breakpoints, containments, improvements for build/assembly that will improve the product overall through QN systems. Assisting and capturing PTR data and feedback.

• Liaison for 2nd shift JCI to supply all General Motor concerns and issues; maintaining supplier/ customer relations.
• Responsible for the Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Efficiency of Team Members within the Department.
• Issued and Tracked Quality Alerts, ODS modifications, Specification Checks, and other Quality Checks and Standards.

• Responsibility of daily production goals.
• Supervise Team Members (attendance); giving direction during a transition from a non-union into a union environment; spearhead process improvements.
• Effectively communicate shift production, rework, efficiency, etc. Including Foam mold PM’s as well as tool PM’s within the department.
• Understand and implement updated standards regarding OSHA and JCI values.
• A Certified member of the Hazmat Decontamination and Containment Team within the JCI facility.
