Enter in weekly payroll for 50+ employees, Track and maintain record of vacation, holiday and sick accruals, Input all new hire background checks while exercising discretion in confidentiality, Process accounts payable paperwork at completion of check run , Provide monthly detail to the Senior Accountant for General Journal entries, Assist in monthly closing of financial records and posting of month end information; ensures accuracy of financial statements, Assist District Operations Manager during company audits, Maintain an accurate record of company assets/depreciation, Manage petty cash account, Responsible for all Licensing requirements per the State of Iowa and FDA, Entering and tracking service related issues, Managing vendor database, AP & AR, assist with annual budgets, Accurately processing supplier and customer invoices and credits daily within standard policies reflective of the customers requirements, Assure accurate pricing at each customer level, Credit card processing, Assure timely collection of monies due to the company, make recommendations to improve quality of invoicing and collection procedures, Superior spreadsheets skills along with excellent written and verbal skills, Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes purchasing orders as required; tracks orders and investigates problems, Records purchases, maintains vendor database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports, Processes and/or approves invoices for payment, Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones, and assisting customers, May lead, guide, and train staff/employees performing related work; may participate in the recruitment of new hires, as appropriate to the area of operation
