Summer P. is a Articling Student | Litigation Services at TD Insurance. Colleagues describe them as "I am a Project Lead for the Professional Excellence in Financial Services (EFS) Bridging Program at Seneca College. It is my pleasure to provide a recommendation for Ratih (Summer) Prasetyani Summer was a student /class leader in the EFS program in 2021. She was a highly valued member of cohort 9 and made a strong contribution during her time at Seneca College. Summer is a confident innovator, always supporting ideas with solid research, determination, and passion. The ability to use critical thinking to rationalize a decision sets summer apart. She knows how to create a compelling vision of the future, communicate that vision, and help people understand and commit to it. She is always tactful when dealing with her classmates, instructors, and program staff. Summer is always willing to share and work with her classmates to help them embrace and nurture their leadership abilities. She is an expert on creating positive messages to inspire others and establish trust and respect with her peers, modeling good behaviors, and leading by example. Being a Student Leader in a pandemic helped her to strengthen a variety of fundamental characteristics such as adaptability, teamwork, and resiliency. She had to lead in an innovative way and solve problems that did not previously exist. Summer encouraged her classmates to help each other, treat each other with an increased amount of empathy, and share experiences that fostered deeper connections and a sense of understanding of one another. Summer’s greatest strengths: Strong work ethic- passionate about what she does, very committed to her work, excellent communicator and hard worker, outstanding customer service skills, ability to resolve difficult situations, flexibility to handle changes, and ability to wear multiple hats- willing to try out different things.
