My name is Summer Powers. Currently, I am an Automotive Service Application Support Agent. Recently I worked as an Administrative Secretary at Oxford Community Schools. I also have experience in marketing as a Marketing Associate for the Flagstar Strand Theatre. To create content, I have design experience with Canva and Photoshop. I love picking up additional skills like my Google Analytics certification as well. In my spare time, I’ve been practicing martial arts. It’s fun to learn how to defend myself, and a good workout too!A few years ago, I graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature. While earning my degree, I worked in one of the school libraries as a Program Assistant. I also did internships in Social Media, at a travel magazine and a food blog. After graduating, I held various roles and gained sales and administrative experience through real estate, retail, and in the nonprofit sector at a library.In the future, I want to focus on my passion for marketing through story telling and design. I’m dedicated to providing an outstanding work ethic no matter what I do. I love to collaborate on projects with others while having my own tasks to manage. It’s important to me that my work helps people and matters, and also that I have some creative freedom in contributing to my company’s goals.
